This is a new course that I’ll be teaching this fall. If you’re interested in learning about “writing for change”–that is, writing to influence the choices we make as a culture–then this is a course for you. We’ll be looking primarily at texts that focus on environmental issues, but we’ll also be talking about writing nonfiction in general. I’m looking forward to a semester of engaging readings, lively conversation, and thoughtful student essays. Come join us!
